Dorian Torres is a professional longboarder from Playa Samara who has been surfing since the age of nine. His love for the ocean quickly turned into an passion that drove him to start competing in Costa Rican national events in 2017. After some great results in Costa Rica, Dorian expanded his career by competing internationally. He’s competed in many top events including the WSL (World Surf League), ISA and MexiLog Festival.

In addition to competing, Dorian’s passion for the ocean naturally evolved into wanting to share the love of the sport with others. Dorian has been teaching for over eight years, and is known for his encouraging smile, unique patience and positive coaching style. Dorian’s goal to to make each student’s experience happy and positive while learning to surf in one of the best locations in the world.
